I’ve been learning piano at Presto Studios for around 3 years, and the experience has been incredibly rewarding. I'm currently learning under Teacher Janice, who is deeply dedicated and motivating. This is apparent especially when I’m struggling to making progress or stay committed to practising consistently. She never gives up—instead, she supports me and pushes me to keep going.

Her expertise is impressive; she is quickly identifies the problem areas in my playing and guides me through how to improve effectively and meticulously. Aside from technical expertise, she also consistently encourages me to perform at recitals and studio events, which has really helped build my confidence.

Since I have joined Presto Studios as a student, I have grown a deeper and more holistic love for music and the piano. While, I was looking around for a Piano school for my children, Presto Studios was recommended by one of the parents in the preschool attended by my children. It's a nice cosy place tucked away in a silent corner of the city in Komo Shoppes (unlike the hustle bustle of Tampines and Bedok). Especially, I like the astute observation of the teacher about the children's strengths and weaknesses. Thanks to the individual attention that the teacher spends with the children for learning, both of children have started enjoying piano. I like the teaching methodology with a combination of theory and practice. I found the piano books shared by the school for the children studying in P1 and P2 excellent. We’ve had a truly fantastic experience with Presto Music Studio, especially under the guidance of Sek Jhia. My son has grown so much—not just in his ukulele skills, but in his confidence as a performer. Teacher Sek Jhia has a wonderful way of connecting with his students and bringing out their best.

Thanks to teacher Sek Jhia’s support, my son has gone from casual in-house sessions to performing solos at road shows!! It’s been amazing to watch him take the stage with ease and enthusiasm!
